It's a white Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving to all.  I know this is a new blog so I am not sure how many of you are looking at this.  If you are, comment on a post and let me know you are out there.  I am up north this weekend for the holiday and we got some new snow last night.  I had to get outside this morning and take some pictures of the snow and ice on the river.  I hope you enjoy.

Interesting Sign

This week for business I had to take a long trip across the state.  As I often do I bring my camera and put it on the front seat next to me.  I was on conference calls most of the trip and couldn't stop.  However, when I saw this road sign of an Amish horse and buggy, I just had to turn around and take a picture.  Maybe some day I can frame it better should I ever get back there but it was just an interesting sign worthy of a quick snap.

Pictures of My Favorite Model

Well I said I would post two pictures from the weekend that I like.  Both are of my favorite model, my daughter, Maddie.  I like the first one below the best.  She is playing in a leaf pile.  The blurring of the leaves add a nice effect to the picture. 

Still Early

Well I am still working on my website and it is taking much longer than I first thought. I need to build out this blog and customize it more too. I am going to have a chance to be out in the wild this weekend so my photography goal will be to take two photos I like and post them here. I need to start setting regular goals to keep shooting and getting better. Stayed tuned for the results.

Starting Anew

Well I'm kicking off my photography site and wanted a blog as well. I am an amateur photographer and aspiring to grow my skills and business. Long term I would like to work this into a second career. I will try to blog on a regular basis and show lots of photos. Stay tuned. This journey is just beginning.
